Energy Efficient Home Improvements

Tax Credits for energy efficient home improvements When the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 passed it included tax credits for energy efficient home improvements. Homeowners will enjoy the long-term energy savings benefit and a tax credit. The credit applies to 2009 and 2010 returns with a lifetime cap of $1,500. Fill out IRS form 5695 to claim the credits when you file your federal tax return.
