PMAR Government Affairs Committee advocates on behalf of private property rights. PMAR supports measures that promote homeownership and opposes measures that interfere with it.

The objectives of the PMAR Government Affairs Committee (GAC):

• Meets the first Wednesday of every month;
  
  
• Covers all aspects of government affairs, with particular emphasis on developing and maintaining high quality relationships with local, state, and federal officials;
  
  
• Review and pro-actively monitor local ordinances and legislative actions that impact the real estate industry and real property rights;
  
  
• Develops local public policy recommendations on behalf of PMAR.

We encourage all members to respond to Calls-To-Action, and to participate in other ways such as making an investment to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), so that we can continue to increase our visibility among lawmakers.
